Avendi helps you search for jobs, track applications and write personal letters. To do that it stores information about you and your job search. This page explains what we store, why, who helps us run the service, and what you can do about it.
Who provides Avendi
Avendi is provided by Ung Consulting AB (org. no. 559576-1593), which is also responsible for your personal data. Contact: support@avendi.app
What we store
Only what you enter or upload yourself:
- Your account: name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Applications you track: roles, companies, job ad texts, statuses, notes, next steps, and the contacts you add (names and details of people you’re in touch with).
- Your job profile: skills, experience, education, languages, wished-for roles, places and salary, the companies you follow, and the address and LinkedIn link you add for your letters.
- Your CVs: the PDF files, the text read from them, and the skills and roles found in that text.
- Personal letters and job analyses you make in Avendi, and a count of AI actions for the daily limit.
- If you subscribe to Pro: your plan, its status and renewal date. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach Avendi.
Why
We use your data only to provide the service you signed up for: showing your applications, matching jobs to your profile and CV, and writing letters when you ask. We don’t sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with employers. The legal basis is the agreement between you and us when you create an account.
Who helps us run Avendi
These companies process data on our behalf, only to run the service:
- Supabase: our database and login, including the emails for confirming your address and resetting your password.
- Cloudflare: hosting of the app, and private storage of your CV files.
- JobTech Dev (Arbetsförmedlingen): when you upload a CV or match a job, its text is sent to JobTech’s service to find skills and roles in it. Job searches send your search terms to Platsbanken.
- Stripe: payments for Pro, including card details, receipts and VAT. Stripe keeps payment records as accounting law requires, also after you delete your account.
AI letters, analyses and imports
Only when you click “Write letter” or “Analyse the job”, Avendi sends the job ad, the text of the CV you chose and your job profile to OpenRouter, which passes it to an AI model. For an analysis the profile includes your salary minimum and wished places, so it can flag a mismatch; letters leave them out. When you import a job, only the ad (the page at the link, or the text you pasted) is sent. Your notes and contacts are never sent. Nothing is sent until you click.
OpenRouter forwards each request to one of the companies that host the model, so that company also processes the text. Avendi asks OpenRouter to use only providers that don’t store the text or train AI on it, and OpenRouter doesn’t keep it either.
AI can get things wrong. Always read and correct a letter before you send it.
Data outside the EU
Some of these companies are based outside the EU/EEA, for example in the US. When data is processed there, it is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. Anything you delete is gone from Avendi straight away. When you delete your account, everything is deleted, including your CV files.
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data at any time in the app. Under Settings you can download everything as a file and delete your account. You also have the right to object to processing and to ask us about your data.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se).
